prem court pedder road
landmarks memories speed by
pain pierces through void

chocolate bearer

knock on the door
and you stride in
trademark grin
sending the blues
scrambling for cover
as you proffer
a bar of cadburys
fruit and nut
leaving me
warm
euphoric
and wondering
if the endorphin high
is from the chocolate
or the chocolate bearer
